Zefire, Dragon Architect
“You ask about your city- I am your city! You may ask me.”
Zefire is an ancient spirit dragon who had once been trapped in the Eye of Arin. He was released by King Taren III to find a peaceful solution to the Goblin Gate that opened 200 years ago.
He earned the title of ‘Dragon Architect’ by creating a labyrinth of stone and metal he called Manzan. He claimed it to have enough room for everyone in the Human kingdom- and Zefire.
After the dragon put the final touch on it, he reversed the gravity on the earth beneath it and used chains with links the size of houses to tether it down. After some whining, he placed the King’s Palace on top of Manzan.
Zefire after has done very little, staying in his cave deep within Manzan, rarely coming out to warn people, come to the festival held in his honor every year (he doesn’t come every year, more like every 6 years or so), and once to slay the spirit dragon Searinell, who wanted to take Manzan as his own, and once to bring the Kitsune and Mattin to Manzan.
Zefire is known for his encyclopedic knowledge of everything that happens in Manzan, his creative solutions to many problems, and his ceaseless love for pranks, even going so far as to invite the playful foxfolk and mousefolk to Manzan because humans were getting boring.
Zefire, like all spirit dragons, has epic level control over five elements. He controls Shadow, Electricity, Earth, Knowledge, and Iron.
